Back-To-School time is upon us and as parents of a Senior we know all to well that #1stImpressionsCount. They probably count more than ever now days because peer pressure is at an all time high. But being an only child our daughter takes for granted lots of things. But car maintenance and car safety is something that her dad and I are very adamant about. So when it came time to get her a vehicle we knew that it had to be reliable, safe, and would last her for years to come. She didn’t get a new vehicle, but she took over the family SUV who we like to call Eddie.
Eddie has been in the family for several years and is a reliable vehicle that is safe as well as mechanically sound. So it fits all our requirements as parents and Liz loves it because it has lots of room for friends, softball equipment and so on. But with a vehicle comes responsibility and with college looming we are taking her responsibility levels to new highs. This year she will be in charge of regular vehicle maintenance on Eddie in order to prepare her for living away from home next year.
This year her dad will hold her hand and help Liz become more familiar with the under the hood workings of Eddie, but we are doing our best to get her prepared for the real world that is coming all to quickly for us. So in an attempt to get back to school in style we headed to our local Walmart to pick up a few things to spruce Eddie up for a Fresh Start. Shopping at Walmart is always fun, affordable and easy to get all of our products in one stop. This shopping trip was no different, so we picked up lots of great products to help Eddie look his best!
We of course stuck to the name brand Armour All because it is a great product at an affordable price but we tried the new Outlast products. After cleaning up Eddie I can honestly say that Armour All Outlast is going to be a household name in our house for years to come. We used the Armor All® Outlast Leather Restorer on the dash and you can see just how much better it looks after it’s first application.
But we didn’t stop at the dash, we cleaned up the running boards with the Armor All® Outlast Trim & Plastic Restorer , vacuumed Eddie out and of course gave Eddie a quick bath. We even upgraded Eddie’s air fresheners but my absolute favorite product was the Armor All® Outlast Tire Glaze. It was easy to use and it made Eddie’s tires and rims look like new! After cleaning our precious Eddie we are pleased to report he’s ready to make his #1stImpressionsCount and so is Liz!
