I don’t know about you all, but being home all of the time is really a challenging time. While there is a lot of things I should do, sometimes you just don’t want to. Or even better it requires something from town that you don’t have on hand, so you do what you can to make the list of important items to pick up on your weekly(ish) trip to town. While we don’t normally shop daily, we seem to be running out of more and more the longer we are home.
So we have our list of things we want to do in the yard, in the house, etc and then we have an ongoing list of wants. A gallon or 2 of
I will admit that we are really a creature of habit though, and I’m kind of enjoying the “down” time. But those of you that have kids to entertain have my sympathy and of course, jealousy because these are some of the best times you will have with your kids. Pitch the tent in the living room, make a blanket fort, do all of the old school things like games and puzzles. But remember to enjoy the little things and of course have a little fun too!
Strike, the fun, family-friendly stop motion animated film about a mole with a goal to save his town and play professional soccer, arrives on DVD and Digital on April 7th from Indican Pictures! Is a must-watch for the entire family!
From producer Edward Catchpole (“Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends” series & “Bob the Builder) and including the voice of Lizzie Waterworth (“Bob the Builder”), Strike is a heart-warming, coming-of-age story that your family won’t want to miss.
Strike follows Mungo Morrison (Waterworth) as he struggles to save his family and community, while also trying to achieve his dream of representing his country in soccer during the Wild Cup in Russia.
Mungo is a young mole who is due to begin work by his proud father’s side in their hometown’s legendary gold mine. While his best friends are excited to be in the mine, Mungo secretly dreams of becoming a professional soccer player. However, desperate not to upset his father and facing the challenge of being a small mole unable to play soccer in bright light, Mungo sadly resigns himself to life as a miner. But, when the mine is forced to shut down after a mysterious accident, an evil and gold-obsessed supervillain, known only as ‘The Boss’ (Ken Stott, “The Hobbit” franchise) attempts to bully the townsfolk into selling him the mine. Against all odds and with a little help from his crazy friends, Mungo begins an epic adventure of thrills, laughs, action and danger as he hurtles towards the Wild Cup finals in Russia and has a final showdown with ‘The Boss.’
