Sugar Cookie Day

Sugar Cookie Day is celebrated each year on July 9th! Today we are going to enjoy this simple yet sugary treat and not feel guilty about it at all. My all time favorite sugar cookie recipe comes from one of my high school’s English teacher! It has been about 20 years since I had a sugar cookie out of Linda Yeager’s kitchen, but each time I make them I think of her fondly. Use her recipe below to bake your own sugar cookies, or head to the store and buy some pre-made cookies! Either way you go, they will be a delightful treat!
