The best seafood we ever have is at a restaurant or while we are on holiday. When it comes to cooking it at home, you can quickly run out of ideas beyond fish sticks or salmon tagliatelle.
So what seafood recipes do you need to know about that can pack a tasty punch at dinner time and leave you with a deliciously full tummy?

Lemon and Garlic Baked Fish
Usually, you use tilapia, but you might prefer salmon or another white fish. A fillet per person is a great start. You’ll need some real butter, salt and pepper, garlic (or garlic powder), chili flakes, lemon, and parsley.
Lay your fish on a lined baking tray, and make sure there are no overlaps. Warm the butter in the microwave or on the hob. Stir in crushed garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and paper.
Pour the warmed butter mixture over your fish as evenly as possible, and add a slice of lemon to each piece.
Bake for about twenty minutes (or until the fish is cooked), and sprinkle some chili flakes on. This goes great with baby potatoes, salad, rice, or pasta.
Salmon Poke Bowl
Poke bowls are one of the best ways to have a tasty dish that is packed with nutrients, and it can even be prepared in advance.
You can use smoked salmon slices, pan fry, or bake the salmon with a salmon poke bowl.
Here is what you’ll need for the poke bowl:
- Avocado
- Cucumber
- Shredded Carrot
- Lettuce leaves
- Edamame
- Broccoli
- White or brown rice (or extra lettuce leaves if you are skipping the carbs)
- Japanese mayonnaise
- Sesame seeds
But you can add any vegetables that you like, and there are some fruits like an orange that goes well with salmon too!
Add the cooked rice to the bowl first, then add the raw vegetables in sections, almost like a clock. Save space for your salmon! Top with the Japanese mayo and sprinkle on the sesame seeds.
