Thanksgiving Place Card Holder
Thanksgiving comes once a year and every year I say I’m going to get craftier. Each year I never do but that’s ok because with our daughter being 17 decorations aren’t mandatory. However, having the nieces and nephews over to craft is always fun too because they enjoy it and we get to make the memories of crafting. The Thanksgiving Place Card Holder were the perfect fun activity for Liz and I for a quick craft. Which allows us to decorate our Thanksgiving table for just a few dollars. I’m always on the lookout for fun and easy crafts and this one was perfect.
Here is what you need to make your own Thanksgiving Place Card Holder:
Mini picture frame (Michael’s Dollar Section)
White craft paper
Buttons in fall colors I have a large selection from clothes that I’ve saved over the years for fun craft projects. Be sure to check out local thrift stores too.
Silk leaves I found some at our local Dollar Tree that were perfect for this project.
Hot glue, glue gun all crafters have at least one right?
Directions:
1. Begin by cutting the craft paper to fit the inside of the frame.
2. Add the name of your guest to the craft paper and insert into the frame. I love that you can do this once and then be ready for the holiday table setting in minutes!
3. Add some glue to the buttons and press them to the corner of the frame. Layer them if you wish so multiple colors and sizes can be used.
4. Finish by gluing a silk leaf to the back of the frame so it is peeking out when displayed.
Your Thanksgiving place card holder is now ready to be enjoyed.
