Being a Nan-Nan (Grandma to our “Tater” as we call him online has its perks! I get to shop for him, spoil him, and of course smother him in hugs and kisses almost anytime I want. But the older he gets the more independent he is becoming and his I can do it myself attitude might just be a family curse. But it doesn’t get any better than being a grandma and watching him brings me a whole new type of joy I didn’t know I needed in my life.
It’s hard to believe but our little Tater is now one year old and we had his birthday party in October. Our little wild one had a wonderful party filled with food, family, fun and lots of gifts. But I think his personal favorite was the cake smash-time, but he enjoyed opening gifts just as much. I totally agree with you about being a grandma! I never thought that I could love other children as much as I loved my own. Boy was I wrong! My grandkids mean a whole lot to us!! That’s why I try and learn all I can about the new products out there for babies and children. Our oldest granddaughter just got married so there’s a good chance that we may be great grandparents in the near future. This is why I checked out this high chair! I really like the fact that it reclines for infant feeding and easy removal of the tray!
