Buying a used car can be an exciting adventure! Don’t look at a used car as being a bad experience, look at it as buying the car of your dreams. I have always loved used car shopping. The prices are better and there are so many options when you buy used.

Take your time
There are always tons of selections when you’re looking at buying a used car. My suggestion is to take your time looking. Since there are so many options out there, take your time! Of course, if you run into a car that you love, snag it up. However, you should never be in a rush to decide.
Cash is King
I could say this tip a million times, but when buying a used car, pay with cash. When you pay with cash, you have more control over the situation. Plus, you are likely to get a better deal when you pay in cash. It kind of hurts to pay in cash too, so you aren’t going to get sucked into buying a luxury vehicle or anything.
Have your mechanic look at it
As much as I love shopping for used vehicles, I’m not naive to the fact that it could need work. You don’t want to be out on money, when buying a vehicle, so get it looked at. Most places will give you a quote for free. So, tip #3 is to definitely have a mechanic take a look at it.
