Can I be honest with you? One of my favorite times of the year is spring. I get to deep clean my house and pitch things we haven’t used, wipe down walls and so much more. I’m always amazed at how much craziness comes in over the year, I am just super anxious to get it out of my house. This year we even ordered a dumpster so that way I could do a mass clean out of stuff we haven’t used in forever. It’s amazing how much one can accumulate through the years. Check out my tips for spring cleaning.
Start small then step it up
When it comes to spring cleaning, it can get overwhelming. I like to start small and get rid of a few things at a time. Once you really get into spring cleaning, you will want to get rid of more and more stuff. But it can be overwhelming but with the dumpster, I’ve been motivated to get rid of all kinds of things I didn’t even remember having. Before you spend time cleaning, you need to spend time getting rid of the clutter. Clutter comes in many forms. You may have a bunch of trash in your home or you may have a ton of clothes just sitting out that you meant to donate. Get rid of the clutter and spring cleaning comes to a whole lot easier.
Really get into cleaning: Spring cleaning means you don’t just touch the surface of cleaning, but you actually dig into cleaning with everything you’ve got. I love getting my hands dirty by scrubbing the walls and really getting the grime and dirt out of my house. Some people love to really get to cleaning their home because it also gets rid of the germs and bacteria that have been lurking all winter long. Spending money on a cleaning service like No More Dust Maid Services will save you time, money and your home will be cleaner longer!
Keep your home and space simple: Another thing that I do after I spring clean is making sure everything in my home stays simple. I try not to let clutter build up and I stay within a cleaning schedule. I’m not a huge fan of doing deep cleanings, but try to do it one to two times a year.
Get the right tools around
I don’t care who you are, it’s hard to clean for spring break when you don’t have the right tools. Cleaning sprays and rags are two of the most important things I used to have to always have on hand. You also need obvious things like a broom and a mop.
Of course, one thing you may want to consider for spring cleaning is known as the Blade Butler.
What is a Blade Butler?
The Blade Butler is a new product that allows you to clean ceiling fans without getting dust and dirt everywhere.
The Blade Butler is designed to reach high and capture the dust that normally falls to the floor while cleaning a ceiling fan. It is 69 in length, to help you reach most ceiling fans. I LOVE that I don’t have to drag out a step stool, paper towels, and cleaner to get my fans clean. The Blade Butler does the heavy lifting for me!
The washable microfiber bag captures the dust and saves you time in cleaning only once, keeping dust and debris from falling to the floor or furniture below. Its 28″ length accommodates most fan blades.
I loved The Blade Butler from the second I opened the box. Here are some of the reasons you need this machine in your life.
- It’s a chemical free way to clean!
- There is no chemical residue left behind.
- It’s super easy to use.
Spring cleaning this year is going to be easier than ever. I love getting my family involved in the process because then it doesn’t take as long. Spring cleaning shouldn’t be torturous for anyone! When it comes to spring cleaning, how do you love to tackle it?
With the right tools and the right motivation, you will have your house in tip-top shape in no time.

I love the idea of spring cleaning, it’s more of a case of getting motivated. I have three generations of miscellaneous stuff to sort thru, pass on to others, donate, & just trash. I really appreciate your tips & thanks for sharing!
