Ultimate Kettlebell Workouts for Beginners Review is broken into three sections for beginners Each section is 25 minutes long and the first section I chose to do was the “introduction” section. In the introduction they teach you how to properly hold your Kettlebell as well as lots of calorie burning exercises. I used a 5 pound Kettlebell and was wishing by the end that I had one that was lighter. But I’m a beginner so it was good to challenge myself.
Kettlebells provided a great workout to my core, shoulders, quads, glutes, hamstrings, and of course my back muscles. In just a few minutes of the workout I was already sweating and my heart was racing. It combines strength and aerobic raining to keep you on your toes. I loved how it was broken into 15, 30 or 45 second intervals during the entire workout. You don’t have a chance to get bored that is for sure.
I was so sore from the first set of workouts that I had to have a day of rest between the workout sets. However, the next workout was even more intense than the first one!! The Drills and Combinations kept you moving and shaking but with even more cardio movements and a more intense workout. The instructor Paul Katami keeps you moving, makes you want to keep exercising and you know that you are getting results because it is an intense workout.
The core workout was the third workout on this awesome DVD. I thought that by the third time I used this DVD I wouldn’t be as sore the next day. I was wrong, but the results are worth it all. I am feeling better, I’m getting better at keeping up with the instructor and getting more physically fit. The Kettlebell workout is the ultimate workout that you can do in the comfort of your own home and actually feel and see results in just a few weeks. Kettlebells are a fun and effective workout. I find doing “Tabata” style training with KB swings to be quick but hard workout. Just grab a KB , swing hard for 20 secs on / 10 secs off, repeat 8 times.
