Unconventional Ways to Use Canning Jars
Well, a lot of people use mason jars in unconventional ways! In fact, you may not even know all the ways you can use mason jars. A lot of people use them for drinking glasses and for canning, but check out these unconventional ways to use canning jars!
As a bug catcher
What? Yes! If you have little ones or even grandkids, let your kids use mason jars to catch bugs. It’s so fun to walk around with a bug catcher jar of your own. Give it a try! You can place a baggie with holes on it, over the jar to help the bugs get air.
Mixing jar
Why use your hard earned money on buying fancy mixer containers for your protein shakes. You can add everything to a mason jar and shake, shake, and shake some more! It mixes up the items perfectly and in some cases your blender ring will actually fit perfidy on the jar.
Travel mugs
When other people want to spend a ton of money on travel jars and mugs, you can just grab a mason jar out of your cabinet. You can buy specialty lids to help you find the right fit for the top.
Container gardening
If you have a small space to work with, but want to have a garden, consider using mason jars. These jars are perfect for planting small portions of plants. You can even create cute little shelves to help you store those mason jars safely. Just add dirt, plant, and watch everything grow. Mini sewing kit
