Vanilla Custard Day
Vanilla Custard Day is celebrated each year on August 17th! Vanilla Custard is a very sweet dish that is usually a vanilla flavor made with sugar, eggs and milk. Vanilla Custard is typically a pie filling but has taken on more of a fancy approach through the years. Vanilla Custard is found in eclairs, trifles, and Boston Creme Pies. Whip up a batch of vanilla custard today to help celebrate this special food holiday!! My absolute favorite dessert that is made with vanilla custard is Sheridan’s Vanilla Frozen Custard!! If I wasn’t on vacation that is how I would be celebrating this food holiday!
Are you celebrating this delicious food holiday??
