Wedding Invitations from Shutterfly
Back in 2016 we worked with Shutterfly on Liz’s Graduation Party Invitations and we all LOVED them. So much in fact that when Austin and Liz decided they wanted to tie the knot, we knew that the invitations from Shutterfly would be the best solution for us. While in the planning stages of the wedding it was decided relatively early that they would do a rustic theme and they didn’t want “traditional” invitations. Again, I wasn’t worried about it because I knew Shutterfly would have the perfect answer for their wedding day. We looked at several cards, made a decision, and then logged onto order them. We couldn’t find them and while the bride did a little bit of freaking out, I assured her that we would find the perfect invitations. With just a few clicks Austin & Liz found invitations that were better than the first ones they had picked, were reasonably priced and of course perfect for the two of them.
Using the Shutterfly website you can easily add your own pictures to hundreds of designs for Wedding invitations, birthdays and every holiday in between. Their website is super simple to use and we had amazing invitations ready and designed in under 20 minutes, we of course waited to order them until the next day so we could proofread them with fresh eyes. It was a good thing we did because we had the zip code wrong (wouldn’t that have been embarrassing?)
After you preview and proofread them all you have to do is hit submit and pay your total due. (Don’t forget to use a coupon) Then, sit back and relax and wait for your invitations. Mine arrived in less than a week and were absolutely PERFECT!! Remember….Good things come in Orange Packages…
After they arrive the real work begins as you gather your wedding invitations, postage and of course addresses and get to work. As the mom I was there, but I made the bride and groom do a lot of the work that day, but I enjoyed spending time with them getting the process underway. We did tell them that once the invitations went out, there was no turning back, but they of course just laughed. We were able to address over 300 wedding invitations and get them ready for mailing in under two hours, talk about feeling accomplished.
It was truly a memorable experience that will last a lifetime, because with each new chapter of life, things change. It is hard to let go of your baby, but their next chapter is going to be just as amazing as their last chapter. And for just over .00 the quality of the wedding invitations can’t be beat, sit back and enjoy the time you have with the bride and groom and let Shutterfly do the heavy lifting for you.
But I do have to admit, a tear or two might have been shed when I placed the finished invitations into the mail slot. While I’m not as ready for the next chapter as I would have thought, it is coming quickly.
