What to Read This Summer

What to Read is This Summer from Thriftbooks

Books are one of my biggest weaknesses and I absolutely love to read. I’ve always got a book in my hand during my downtime and each summer I always have a “theme” if you will. This year’s theme was to get rid of extra clutter around our house and minimize our “things” to make life simpler. While I’ve been busy I haven’t tackled all of the house just yet, but there is still plenty of time left!

But if you know anything about me you probably know that clutter is something I have lots of and things have changed a lot at the SMSL household this summer. I’m not ready to spill all of the details just yet, but rest assured that some of these changes have been for the positive, while others have left a hole in our everyday life. So when I was asked to work with Thriftbooks, I knew that this was the perfect time to get going on some life changes.

Thiftbooks Wish List

Once I accepted the assignment I went to and started shopping. I had several ideas of where I wanted to start looking for books, but before I knew it I had over 20 books on my wish list. I loved that their site was easy to use as well as allowed me to save books to a wish list that I want to read. But the best thing about the Wish List  is that the customer will get an email the instant an out-of-print book hits their shelves. They even show how often they get copies of the title you want and how many other Thrift Books customers are interested in the same title. So obviously these two will be a little hard for me to get, but I will get them eventually.

Thriftbooks Order

After making my wish list I finally narrowed it down to 5 books to order and received them within about 7 days of placing the original order. When they arrived they were wrapped up neatly in two different packages but my favorite was the one that was marked with Thriftbooks and reminding me to spend less and read more.

What to Read This Summer

I love that Thrift Books sells used books at the lowest everyday price on the Internet. But that isn’t all, they also have reward programs as well as thrifty deals making it a win, win for me!

Their Reading Rewards is their loyalty program that has no annual fee and rewards you with a $5 coupon for every $50 you spend on books. I’m already half way there with my first order which makes me very happy!

They even have Tell-a-Friend referral program that gives  friends & family a 15% OFF coupon, as a new customer. You also get one for referring them if they sign up within 14 days; unless you’re a Reading Rewards member. Then it’s 20%!

There is also FREE Shipping on US Orders of $10 or more and orders shipped within 24 hours so you don’t wait long for your books.

So be sure to check out Thriftbooks and make your Summer reading list. I promise you won’t be disappointed with the selections as well as rewards. What are you reading this Summer?
