Williams Sonoma Event Experience

*Disclosure: I received an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles for the coverage of these events. All opinions are 100% my own.

Williams Sonoma Event Experience

A few weeks ago I told you all about a special partnership with Disney and Williams Sonoma and told you all about the new pan which was absolutely gorgeous in person. The limited edition blue-enameled cast iron soup pot is even more gorgeous in person if that is even possible. The signature BEAUTY AND THE BEAST rose with an oversized gold knob bearing the inscription, “Be Our Guest.” While in Los Angeles we headed to Williams Sonoma for a fun afternoon of food demonstrations, flower making and drooling over the Beauty and The Beast Pot. I’d never been in a William Sonoma store but I fell in love with the store the moment I set foot in the store and there are lots of goodies that I can’t wait to add to my kitchen collection.

There were cooking demonstrations, taste testing and even flower making to fill our two hour visit and the chefs as well as other staff members were absolutely amazing as well as talented. When we first arrived we the chef  had refreshing drinks ready for us and then did a cooking demonstration on how to make Beef Ragu. While I’m not a chef I was impressed with her techniques and ability to cook and talk as we went along and after she was done she even had samples for us to try. She must have cooked all morning long in order to serve 25 people along with other store customers.

We also had Squash Soup De Jour, heavenly Strawberry and Rose Petal Lemonade, as well as  Cheese Souffle which I asked for seconds of. The lemonade was my favorite though I do have to admit, but they even sent us home with recipe cards that I added to my collection of things to make. Brady loves the Beef Ragu, but my cast iron pan isn’t nearly as pretty as theirs is I have to admit. After a few taste tests and browsing of the store ever so quickly we were ushered to our spots where we could learn to make paper roses. Sara Kim from Homemade by Sara Kim taught us how to make paper roses during our visit. I did fairly well but quickly renamed my rose a tuse because it looked more like a tulip than a rose. A+ for effort though, and Sara’s were absolutely gorgeous!

We had a wonderful time at Williams Sonoma and made lots of memories to cherish through the years. But if you haven’t been to a local store yet you should go and check it out because they have something there for everyone. Be sure to follow them on social media using the hashtag: #MyWilliamsSonoma to see lots of great products and more.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.
