Graduation Day for my sister-in-law had arrived and I was putting off getting ready. As our day went on it’s way I finally decided I had better find something to wear to my sister-in-law’s graduation. That seemed to be a lot more difficult than what I had ever imagined as I tried on clothes that were way to big. Looking for clothes that looked ok or good to wear and it seemed to be an impossible task at hand so here is what happened.
I look in the closet after several outfits, shirts, pants and other things lay on my bed. My husband now has more clothes than I do, and I’m not exaggerating even a little bit. Since nothing fit I decided to raid my teenage daughter’s closet for something to wear. Since being on Shaklee180 the entire family has lost weight and she has slimmed down even more going into her high school years. So I had several choices of clothes available. I finally settled on pants that are really “to big” but could cinched up with a belt and shirt you thought was awesome but you would never where it when you were bigger!! Little did I know that it didn’t look that good on me until after I saw graduation pictures.
One of the biggest shockers I found was a dress that looked amazing on me, but it needed sewing so I had to save it for another day. When I showed our daughter, she said it looks good mom, I haven’t ever seen you in a dress…Yes that would be 15 years+ since I’ve wore a dress. So I’m going to sew it up soon and look amazing!!
This month has taught me a lot of things even though the scale wasn’t very nice to me, but no gaining so I will take it! Weight loss isn’t just about weight loss, but feeling comfortable and looking as well as feeling your best. As well as to many squats will make your thighs grow thicker with muscle and cause your new jeans to be a little to snug on them. This month wasn’t a stellar month for me by any means and I’ve been discouraged. But I do know that Shaklee180 does work, I just hit a huge bump in the road and have to work harder at getting over the hump. All of the problems I had getting ready were #Awesome Problem2Have -minus the no loss part and definitely made me think about going clothing shopping!!
