As you get older, it’s fun because you gain valuable experience like this. Here is how to determine the best time to buy a car.
When you are financially prepared
One of the best times to buy a car is when you are financially prepared. Making sure you have money to pay for a car is responsible. Making sure you have money to pay for your car is a GOOD thing!
Early in the week
In my opinion, it’s best to shop early in the week because the inventory is there. When you go early in the week, you also have a chance to get more one-on-one attention with your salesman. Life is always better when you can experience good customer service.
Later in the month
You never want to be forced into a decision that you’re not quite ready for. Which is why buying later in the month is a good idea. Salesmen are hopefully done trying to meet their sales quota for the month, which means they may make you a better deal.
Buy during the winter months
You have driven past car lots and have seen rows and rows of vehicles sitting there during the winter months. If you want to buy a car, buy one during the winter months, especially if you are in the market for a mini-van. The car salesmen will be happy to move some inventory no matter what time of the year you are looking.
